I had to post a Part II of Stephanie & Brian's big day. Here's one of the main reasons why:

Emmett Walker

Emmett is my newest nephew! He was born on May 21, 2010! Isn't he adorable?!

Shannon + Eric | Maternity Session

When I first decided I wanted to be a photographer I enlisted one of my best friends Shannon to let me take photos of her while pregnant. She was so sweet and patient with me as I made adjustments and got the feel for my camera. Even though I've known Shannon since about 5th grade I was still sweating bullets during her shoot! I guess my nerves got the best of me that day! I have learned a lot since taking her photos back in February. Thank you Shannon & Eric for letting me use you as my first models!

Stephanie + Brian | June 12, 2010

I had the honor of capturing Stephanie & Brian's wedding this past Saturday. I'm not sure if it is because I know the brides family or just because it was a wedding in general, but that day was definitely filled with love and emotion. I gotta say....when Marilyn (MOB) gave Stephanie her bouquet with a locket filled with remembrance pictures of her grandparents and Stephanie began to cry, I had to hold back tears myself.

Watching the love between two people first hand is amazing. And its not just the bride and groom. When Stephanie and Brian were saying their vows to each other I looked around the room and saw several couples holding hands. I know they were remembering their own vows that they had said to each other at their own wedding. I know my mind flashed back to my own wedding day and the vows I exchanged with my husband.

Stephanie & Brian, thank you for letting me be a part of your day! CONGRATULATIONS!

I'm excited that I will be shooting Stephanie & Brian's wedding this weekend! I plan on having pictures up on Monday! Cross your fingers for no rain on Saturday. ;)
